November 16 is National Black Marketers Day, a chance to recognize Black professionals who shape how the world views brands, culture, and community.

Every year on November 16, the U.S. observes National Black Marketers Day, a celebration created to honor Black marketing professionals and the significant impact they have across various industries, including tech, sports, fashion, and finance. The day highlights how Black marketers bring cultural insight, creativity, and authenticity to campaigns that often reach millions of people.

For Black America, this recognition matters: it reminds young people that “creative careers” in strategy, branding, and digital content are real, viable paths—not just side dreams. It also spotlights founders and executives who are launching agencies, leading global marketing teams, and leveraging their platforms to share uplifting community stories.

Positive Black Network can use this day to feature profiles of Black marketers, share career advice, and encourage brands to invest in Black talent at every level—from interns to CMOs.
