🏆 Why Aisha Bowe Exemplifies Black Excellence
Aisha Bowe’s journey is the definition of Black Excellence in Action. Once a community college student unsure of her future, she went on to become an aerospace engineer at NASA and the founder of STEM Board, a multi-million-dollar tech company focused on empowering youth through STEM innovation.
In April 2025, Bowe made history again, becoming the first Black woman confirmed to fly on Blue Origin’s New Shepard spaceflight. Her name is now etched alongside the few Black women who have ever traveled beyond Earth’s atmosphere.
