Next week, Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to embark on her "Fight For Our Freedoms" college tour, as announced by the White House. During the tour, she will be visiting three HBCUs: Hampton University on September 14th, North Carolina A&T on September 15th, and Morehouse College on September 16th. It is worth noting that this particular tour holds special significance for Vice President Harris, given that she is an alumna of Howard University.
In order to provide emphasis on the accomplishments carried out by the Biden-Harris administration in support of young voters, as well as to discuss the necessary steps to address significant concerns leading up to the upcoming election, Vice President Harris will visit an array of educational institutions. These will include Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic-serving institutions, community colleges, apprenticeship programs, and state schools. Throughout this comprehensive tour, the administration aims to actively engage with student organizers, seeking their input on the obstacles they face as well as their successes, with the ultimate goal of determining how the administration can offer assistance in their endeavors.
